This course is designed to equip personnel who work at height—such as roofers, maintenance operatives, surveyors/inspectors, and telecom mast/tower climbers—with the necessary skills, knowledge, and competence to safely utilize fall protection equipment. It covers the proper use of fall protection gear in various scenarios, ensuring participants can perform their tasks at height with confidence and safety.

The theoretical
segment of the course delves into pertinent legislation and legal obligations
associated with working at height. It also addresses the selection of anchor
points, equipment inspection protocols, and emergency procedures.
On the practical side, participants undergo training in conducting pre-use checks on equipment, as well as learning installation techniques and usage methods for various types of fall protection gear. Additionally, correct procedures for vertical and horizontal movement with energy-absorbing lanyards are emphasized.
